Sarangkot Hiking

Sarangkot is a popular and relatively easy hiking destination known for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Manasalu Range, Phewa Lake, and Pokhara City. The hike takes approximately 3 hours to ascend and the same amount of time to descend.

You have the option to choose whether you want to hike both ways or hike one way and drive the other. If you decide to witness the sunrise from Sarangkot, a private vehicle will pick you up in the early morning. After a 30-minute drive and another half an hour of climbing, you will reach the top of Sarangkot Hill at an elevation of 1592m, where you can observe the surreal sunrise.

After enjoying the sunrise, you can have breakfast and continue hiking further up to Naudanda, which is approximately 11km from Sarangkot. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Fishtail Mountain ranges and experience the local village, people, and lifestyle.

On the return journey, you have the option to drive from Naudanda back to your hotel.
